1. On May 12, 2012 24 year old Model Chantal Zaky became the Miss Universe Jamaica title holder at a glitzy pageant inside the National Indoor Sports Centre in Kingston.
2. Chantal works as a print model for various projects. You may have spotted her in fashion magazines, or T.V. commercials. All These image performances and entities have given her the experience and confidence needed to represent Jamaica at the 61st Miss Universepageant, that will be held in December 2012, with the exact date and venue to be announced by the Miss Universe Organization.
3. Chantal is a self-proclaimed Believer in the Power of Positive Thinking. She hails from a large tightly knit family with strong family ancestry in Portland Jamaica. She is currently pursuing a degree in Journalism and Mass Communcation.
4. She will travel nationwide and Internationally as an advocate for HIV/AIDS Awareness and Youth Education/ Empowerment organizations and well as a Goodwill Ambassador for the Beautiful Island of Jamaica and all things Jamaican.
5. After her reign, Chantal aspires to have a creative and engaging career in Broadcasting that would allow her to be involved in her community.
