Team Jamaica Sits In Third Place on Day 7, Here Are The 8 Medalists

#TeamJamaica currently sits in third place on the medal table with nine medals with with more to go at the IAAF World Championships in Beijing. The team has won four gold, two silver and three bronze medals at the end of Day 7 of the championships. Here are the medalists:

On Day 3, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce won gold and made history. She became the 2015 World Champion and the first woman to win the 100m World Champion title 3 times — 2009, 2013 and now 2015! Carmelita Jeter was the World Champion in 2011.

On Day 6, Shericka Jackson won bronze for Jamaica in the Women’s 400m.

On Friday, Day 7, Elaine Thompson won the Silver and Veronica Campbell-Brown won the bronze medal in the Women’s 200m. Watch here.
