Briana Williams won the women’s 100m gold for Jamaica at the CARIFTA Games 2019.

Williams clocked an 11.25 season’s best to win the Under-20 100m final beating Trinidad and Tobago’s Akila Lewis, who claimed silver in 11.62 seconds on Saturday, Day 1 of the games in the Cayman Islands. Jamaican Kemba Lewis earned bronze in 11.68.
