Elaine Thompson won semi-final #3 to advance to the Women’s 100m final.

Thompson clocked 10.88, similar to Shelly-Ann’s time in semi-final #2, ahead of American English Gardner 10.90. Again, similar time to Dafne Schippers second-place-finish in the Semi-final #2.
