Elaine Thompson wins 100m Rome Diamond League in world-leading time

Elaine Thompson ran a world-leading 100m time at the Rome Diamond League Thursday after an embarrassing 200m in Stockholm, Sweden, last month.

Thompson recorded new season best of 10.89 seconds down from her previous 11.14 time she clocked at the Shanghai Diamond League (May 18).
