Update: Jamaica’s Women’s 4x400m Relay bronze re-instated after a protest. Jamaica got the boot after not lining up in the right order at the second exchange. Any advantage gained has been deemed irrelevant. The gap between them and fourth place finishers GB&NI was 0.65 seconds.

The team, Anastasia Le-Roy to Tiffany James to Stephenie Ann McPherson to Shericka Jackson clocked a season-best 3:22.37 behind winner Team USA with a world-leading time 3:18.92. Poland finished second in 3:21.89.

Update: Team Jamaica DQ’d in Women’s 4x400m Relay

Jackson was tiring – she ran in Jamaica’s victorious 4x100m team yesterday and the individual 400m earlier this week, where she won bronze – but wasn’t being caught. She secures her third medal of the championships.
