Andre De Grasse beat LaShawn Merritt in the Men’s 200m at the 14th Jamaica International Invitational (JII) meet at the National Stadium in Kingston.

De Grasse clocked 20.14 to win his first individual race of the season. American star quarter-miler Merritt finished second in 20.28 while Great Britain’s rising star, Zharnel Hughes came in third in a time of 20.29.
