This comes after Buju posted a video to Instagram telling fans his hotel room was raided on Saturday by Police Officers who claimed to have a search warrant to search Buju Banton’s hotel room. Nothing was found.

Buju Banton arrived in Trinidad and Tobago on Friday via a private jet ahead of his highly anticipated I AM LEGEND concert on the twin island this Sunday.

Commissioner Gary Griffith assured Buju Banton and his team that he would investigate the matter, having explained that he was at a wedding when he received information.

“I will not let this issue affect my love for the Trinidadian people or me as I move forward to have a wonderful night tomorrow,” Buju expressed to fans on Instagram this evening. “Trini, we’re still on track. Love to my Trini family. “
