Watch Update: Jamaica confirms 30 cases of Covid-19

Jamaica now has 30 confirmed case of Covid-19 after 4 new cases announced today. Twenty (20) are imported cases, 1 death, 8 imported related and 2 under investigation.

The government has made a decision not to extend the quarantine of the Seven and Eight Miles Communities in Bull Bay. The quarantine comes to an end at midnight tonight. Watch the press conference live below.

Prime Minister Andrew Holness also said persons who returned to Jamaica between March 18 and 24, who may be asymptomatic, and have not self-quarantined, pose the biggest threat which could lead to a spike in Covid-19 cases.
