The favourite in this event, the world’s fastest man Usain Bolt, set his first ever 100m world record at this stadium in 2008, but he hasn’t been back since. The return of the sprint superstar has drawn a fair share of attention and set high expectations for the meeting. Bolt enters the 200m with a modest season best of 20.13, which he set in his last race at a cold and wet Ostrava Golden Spikes meet late last month. The 28-yeard-old Jamaican will be competing on a lucky track and in warm weather, he is poised to run a big season’s best. Here are the start lists for men and women of Team Jamaica in descending order.
Jamaica’s Sophia Smellie and Anastasia Le-Roy will kick-off the events for the sprint nation in the Women 400m B Race.
