“Playing the first time on Centre, I thought I’d freak out a little bit but actually having played [and beaten Nadal] in Halle [last year] it made it easier,” Brown said after the match. “It’s easy for me to play someone like him because I have nothing to lose,” he added.
“When I went for my shots and started off really well in the beginning, that obviously really helped. [At the end] I just kept on saying ‘Dustin, just try to concentrate, just try to get through it somehow’,” Brown recounts. Rafa Nadal is OUT of #Wimbledon. It’s another early exit for the former champion. Dustin Brown was too strong and won in four thrilling sets.
