Warren Weir, Usain Bolt, Julian Forte, Nickel Ashmeade Ready For 200 Metres Heats

After defending his 100m World Championship title, living legend, Usain Bolt now aims to defend his 200m title starting tomorrow.

Four Jamaicans will be competing in the Heats of Men’s 200m on Tuesday, Day 4 of the World Championships in Beijing, China. The Women’s 200m Heats is set for Day 5.

The Heats kick at 7:44 a.m. ET or 6:44 a.m. Jamaica time when Bolt will compete in the Heat 3. After that race, Nickel Ashmeade will line up with Justin Gatlin for Heat 4, Julian Forte for Heat 5 and then Olympic bronze medalist Warren Weir will line up for Heat 6 to also secure his spot in the Men’s 200m semi-final set for Day 5, Wednesday, August 26 at 8:30 a.m.
