Jamaica Third In Men’s 4x400m Relay Heats, Qualifies For the Final.

Team Jamaica secured their place in the Men’s 4 x 400m Final after finishing third behind America and Trinidad and Tobago in 2:58.13 in the second heat. The Baton went from Peter Matthews to Ricardo Chambers, Dane Hyatt to Javon Francis.

Francis had to be helped by medics being injured in the qualifying round.

New national 400m record holder Rusheen McDonald is expected to replace Francis in the Final set for Sunday at 8:25 a.m. ET  or 7:25 a.m. Jamaica local time.
