Warren Weir: “Thanks for all the support… there will be better days”

After finishing seventh in the Men’s 200m semi-final on Wednesday, Olympic bronze medalist Warren Weir took to Facebook and Instagram tell fans “Thanks for all the support.” However, Usain Bolt and Nickel Ashmeade qualified for the Men’s 200m Final set for Thursday, August 27 at 8:55 am ET / 7:55 Jamaica time.

“It [has] been a season plagued with injuries but never the less I put my all in it. [I] Didn’t get the result I wanted but there will be better days,” he added.
