The Women Expected To Secure Jamaica’s Place In 4x100m Relay Final

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce will line up in the heats to anchor for Jamaica’s 4x100m relay team at midnight –12 a.m. ET on Saturday (11:00 p.m. Jamaica local time). Heat one, lane six should see either Elaine Thompson, Veronica Campbell-Brown or Sherone Simpson line up with Natasha Morrison, Kerron Stewart and Fraser-Pryce.

The finals, scheduled for 8:45 a.m. ET (7:45 a.m Jamaica local time) on that same day could see Kerron Stewart, Elaine Thompson, Veronica Campbell-Brown, and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce line up for a gold medal finish. However, that line-up depends on the athletes in both the best condition and speed.
