Stacey-Ann Williams won the gold medal for Jamaica in Girls 400 Meter Dash UNDER 18 on the opening day of the 2016 CARIFTA Games in St. George’s, Grenada — March 26-28.

Williams ran an impressive 54.00 to win the gold medal beating Grenada Amanda Crawford’s 54.16 — silver. Her teammate Sanique Walker finished fourth in 55.22 behind Britni Fountain of the Bahamas, who ran 54.68.
