Shannon Kalawan (JAM) Breaks Carifta Girls’ 400m Hurdles U-20 Record

Shannon Kalawan broke the Carifta Girls’ 400m Hurdles Under-20 record after sprinting to the finish line in a time of 56.29, leaving the rest of the field some 50 meters behind,  on Day 2 of the 2016 CARIFTA Games in St. George’s, Grenada — March 26-28.

Her teammate Nicolee Foster finished third (58.34) behind British Virgin Islands’ Lakeisha Warner, who ran 58.14.
