Nigel Ellis won gold in the Boys’ 100m Under-20 on Saturday, the opening day of the 2016 CARIFTA Games in St. George’s, Grenada — March 26-28.

Ellis blazed down the 100-meter track in a time of 10.16 (Wind Speed: 1.4 m/s) to win the gold medal for Jamaica, beating Barbados’ Mario Burke 10.29 and Raheem Chambers of Jamaica, who finished third in 10.35.
