Stephenie Ann McPherson fought to qualify for the semi-finals of the Women’s 400m at the World Indoor Championships underway in PORTLAND (OREGON), USA.

McPherson finished second in the Heat 1in a time of 52.56 beating Zambia’s Kabange Mupopo at the finish behind Oluwakemi Adekoya of Bahrain.
Heat 3 of women’s 400m was a messy one for Jamaica’s Chrisann Gordon, who was “pushed” according to the IAAF.
