Veronica Campbell-Brown and Danielle Williams were winners in their respective events at this morning’s International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) World Challenge Meeting in Beijing, China.
The former World and Olympic champion Campbell-Brown won the women’s 200 metres 22.29 seconds — the fourth fastest in the world so far this year — breaking Allyson Felix Meet Record. She also equalled her season’s best. Another Jamaican, Simone Facey, came in second with a season’s best of 22.63 seconds while American Tiffany Townsend was third in 23.06 seconds.

Danielle Williams, the 2015 World Champion, clocked 12.80 seconds to win the Women’s 100 metres Hurdles ahead of Americans Christina Manning, who finished in 12.91 seconds and Tiffany McReynolds who was third in 12.97 seconds.
