Usain Bolt won the Men’s 100m race in 9.88 at the inaugural Racers Grand Prix meet in Kingston, Jamaica, on June 11. After stumbling at his start, Bolt pulled away from the field of world class athletes: Yohan Blake, Asafa Powell, Kemar Bailey-Cole, and Nickel Ashmeade.
This is the fourth time in history Bolt has competed against Blake and Powell all together in a race. Ashmeade finished second (9.94) ahead of Yohan Blake, who finished third in a similar time of 9.94. Asafa came in fourth in a time of 9.98. France’s Jimmy Vicaut has the fastest time this year of 9.86.
