Javon Francis won the Men’s 400m final in 44.95 on the final day of the Jamaica Olympic Trials/Jamaican Senior Championships — held June 30 – July 3 at the National Stadium in Kingston.
Francis is now a two-time National Champion. Fitzroy Dunkley finished second in 45.35 and Nathan Allen third in a time of 45.52. The Olympic standard for the Men’s 400m is 45.40, which means Francis and Dunkley have automatically qualified for the Olympics.
