Nigel Ellis Wins Bronze in Men’s 200m at World Under-20 Champs

Nigel Ellis won the bronze medal in Men’s 200m at the IAAF World Under-20 Championships on Friday, July 22, 2016, in Bydgoszcz, Poland.

Ellis, who has been unbeaten all season, clocked 20.63 to finish third behind Michael Norman Jr, who set a new Championship record 20.17 to win the gold medal in 200m for team USA — their 5th gold in the event and 100th gold in the history of these championships. South Africa’s sprint prodigy Tlotliso Leotlela finished second in 20.59.
