Usain Bolt won Semi-final 1 in 10.04 seconds after recovering from a bad star on Day 2 of the Jamaica Olympic Trials/Jamaican Senior Championships on Friday — held June 30 – July 3 at the National Stadium in Kingston.

Senoj-Jay Givans came in second in a time of 10.05 and Jevaughn Minzie (10.07) third. Fourth place in the Men’s semifinal 1 went to Dexter Lee with Warren Weir finishing fifth.
Yohan Blake ran an explosive race to win the Men’s 100m Semi-final 2 in 9.95 ahead of Nickel Ashmeade (10.01) – second and Asafa Powell (10.02) – third. Kemar Bailey-Cole finished fourth in 10.04. The 100m final is set to start in 2 hours.
