Veronica Campbell-Brown, who is headed to her fifth Olympics, finished second in the Women’s 100m at the Monaco Diamond League in 11.12 seconds.
Dutchwoman Dafne Schippers won the race comfortably in 10.94 seconds. Carina Horn of South Africa was third in 11.14 seconds while American Tianna Bartoletta, who was second at the US Olympic Trials in 10.78, had to settle for fifth with 11.21 seconds.

Veronica Campbell-Brown, who finished fourth in 11.10 at the Jamaican Olympic Trials, was named among Jamaica’s 63-memeber squad to compete at the 2016 Rio Olympics August 5-21, where she will compete in the Women’s 200m and 4 x 100m relays.
With this win, Schipper jumped to the top of the Diamond Race points standings with 22 points, two more than Jamaica’s Elaine Thompson, who has 20 points.
