Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Elaine Thompson and Christania Williams have advanced to Women’s 100M FINAL on Saturday at Rio 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, and Elaine Thompson won their semi-final race, while Christania Williams advance to the final as a fast loser after finishing third in her semi-final.
Christania Williams advanced to the final after clocking 10.96 to finish behind Trinidad and Tobago’s Michelle-Lee Ahye (10.90). The winner was USA’s Tori Bowie who clocked 10.90.
Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce won the Women’s 100m semi-final #2 after clocking 10.88 to beating Dafne Schippers 10.90 in a +0.3 headwind!
Elaine Thompson clocked 10.88, similar to Shelly-Ann’s time in semi-final #2, winning the semi-final #3 ahead of America’s English Gardner 10.90, a similar time to Dafne Schippers second-place-finish in the Semi-final #2.
