Day won the race in 51.54 ahead of Canada’s Carline Muir (51.57) and Poland’s Małgorzata Hołub. ?? Stephenie-Ann McPherson and ?? Shericka Jackson won Heat 1 and Heat 7 in 51.36 and 51.73 respectively.
