Javon Francis 5th in Semi-final #1 of Men’s 400m at Rio Olympics

??Javon Francis 5 finished in the Men’s 400m semi-final 1 on Day 2 of athletics at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil.

Francis, the national champion, finished 44.96 behind winner Kirani James (44.02) and LaShawn Merritt (44.21). ??Rusheen McDonald, who finished second in his heat with a season-best of 45.22, will line up in semi-final 2 next.

The Men’s 400m Final set for Day 3 of the athletics at the Rio Olympics will kick off 8pm JA time/ 9pm ET on Sunday.
