Megan Simmonds finished second in heat 6 of the Women’s 100m Hurdles and has advanced to the semi-finals at the Rio Olympics.

Simmonds clocked 12.81s in a +0.4 m/s tail wind behind winner Brianna Rollins of the USA, who recorded 12.54s. Simmonds will join two other Jamaicans, Nickiesha Wilson and Shermaine Williams, in the Women’s 100m Hurdles semi-finals on Wednesday, August 17 at 6:45pm/7:45pm ET
