After a great start, McLeod, who won Olympic gold in 13.05, seemed to have lost his form after the 8th hurdle and struggled to stay ahead of the pack and was subsequently beaten (13.12) by one-hundredth of a second (0.01) by biggest rival Orlando Ortega (13.11) of Spain at the finish line.
