Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce Wins Semi #2, advances to 100m Final

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce won the Women’s 100m semi-final heat 2 beating three of her rivals tonight at Rio 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Fraser-Pryce clocked 10.88, beating Dafne Schippers 10.90 in a +0.3 headwind! Fraser-Pryce also went head to head with Tianna Bartoletta of the USA, and Marie-Josee Ta Lou of Ivory Coast to advance to the final. Ta Lou came in third with a time of 10.94.

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce could become the first woman to win three consecutive Olympic 100m gold medals on Saturday at Rio 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. However, Fraser-Pryce is currently suffering from a toe injury that she has been battling with all season.
