Shericka, Christine, Stephenie-Ann Advance to Women’s 400m Semi-finals

Three Jamaican women have advanced to the semi-finals of the Women’s 400m at the Rio Olympic Games in Brazil set for Sunday at 6:30pm JA time/ 7:30pm ET.

Stephenie-Ann McPherson, Shericka Jackson, Christine Day, and will line up in Heat 1, Heat 2 and Heat 3 respectively on Day 3 of the athletics program.

McPherson, who won Heat 1, will line up with Heat 3 winner Phyllis Francis of USA. National champion Shericka Jackson, who won Heat 7, will line up with Heat 4 winner Natasha Hastings of USA. And Christine Day, who won Heat 8, will line up with Heat 2 winner — USA’s Allyson Felix.
