Tarees Rhoden secured the silver medal in a time of 9:30.69. Georges Jean-Elie of Martinique won the bronze medal in 9:30.75.
Jamaican also won silver and bronze in Girls 3000m OPEN Final. Britnie Dixon finished 2nd in 10:44.63 and teammate her Kayan Green finished third in 10:45.76.
