Elaine Thompson Wins 100m Paris Diamond League

Elaine Thompson won the women’s 100m at the highly anticipated Paris Diamond League.

The undefeated Thompson won in a time of 10.91 seconds, Ivorian Marie Josée Ta Lou finished second with a time of 10.96 and Nigerian Blessing Okagbare-Ighoteguonor came in third with a time of 11.09 seconds.

Thompson has run the two fastest 100m times so far this year, 10.71 (+0.8) and 10.78 (-0.3).  In her first race, she ran wind-assisted 10.75 (+2,2) at the UTech Classic in Kingston on April 15.
