3 Jamaicans qualify for Men's 400m World Championships

Kemar Mowatt, Jaheel Hyde, and Ricardo Cunningham have qualified for the semi-final of the men’s 400m hurdles at the London World Championships.

Mowatt finished fourth in heat 1 with a time of 50.00 behind the winner American Kerron Clement, who won in a time of 49.46. Japan’s Takaoshi Abe was second with a time of 49.65 and Jak Heinrich Jagor came in third, clocking 49.81.

Jaheel Hyde finished second in heat 2 with a time of 49.72 behind American Tj Holmes, who won in a time of 49.35.

Ricardo Cunningham qualified in fourth place with a time of 49.91 in heat 4 behind winner Juander Santos.
