Jamaica’s Demish Gaye and Nathon Allen have qualified for the men’s 400m semifinal during the morning session of Day 2 of the London World Championships.

Gaye finished second in 44.98 behind Botswanan Baboloki Thebewho won Heat 3 in 44.82, the third fastest time recorded in the heats.

Jamaican Nathon Allen of Jamaica won the sixth and final heat of the men’s 400m44.91, 0.01 ahead of US runner Gil Roberts. The semifinals are set for August 6 at 2:40 PM ET.
