Fredrick Dacres wins the Discus Gold at Athletics World Cup

Fredrick Dacres won Jamaica’s first gold medal at the inaugural, two-day Athletics World Cup underway in London.

Dacres dominated the men’s Discus event with his best throw measuring 65.32m, a few meters less than his personal of 69.67m. South Africa took the silver with a throw of 63.73m and France take third place (63.48m)
