Team Jamaica earned 12 medals after five days of competition July 10-15 at the 2018 IAAF World Under 20 Championships in Tampere, Finland.

The team won 4 gold, 5 silver, and 3 bronze medals, ranking second to Team Keyna who 6 gold, 4 silver and 1 bronze to a total of 11 medals.
In 2017, Jamaica won a total of 8 medals at IAAF World Under-18 Championships at Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi, Kenya.
