Jamaica’s Men’s relay team won the silver medal in 38.96, setting a new National record but fell second to Team USA, who has finally, after five full days, scooped its first gold medal of the championships.

The Jamaican team, Xavier NAIRNE to Christopher TAYLOR to Jhevaughn MATHERSON to Michael STEPHENS weren’t strong enough to beat Team USA who dominated the field, setting a World under-20 world-leading time of 38.88. Team Germany finished third in 39.22.
