Shericka Jackson ran the race of her life to win her first-ever 200m gold medal on day 2 of the inaugural Athletics World Cup being underway in London.

Jackson, usually a 400m runner, chased and beat American sprinter Jenna Prandini by a meter to win gold in 22.35. Prandini finished in 22.45 to take the silver.
