Stephenie Ann McPherson has won gold in the women’s 400m race at the inaugural two-day Athletics World Cup being held in London.

McPherson clocked 50.98 (8 pts) to beat France’s Floria Gueï 51.81. Poland’s Justyna Święty-Ersetic finished third in 51.89.
