Akeem Bloomfield, a former Kingston College high school standout-turned-pro’, held off Jonathan Jones to win the 400m in London Diamond League.

The massive and remarkable 21-year-old Bloomfield clocked his season’s best 44.40 after a strong finish. Compatriots Nathon Allen and Demish Gaye finished third and fifth respectively.
