Shericka Jackson won the 400m gold medal Thursday to become the Pan American Games champion after a superb run in the final in Lima, Peru.

Jackson made winning looked easy in 50.73 seconds, way ahead Mexico’s Paola Moran, who won the silver medal in 51.02 seconds. Team USA’s Courtney Okolo finished third in 51.22 seconds.
Team Jamaica added another six medals to their tally on Day 4 of the 2019 Pan American Games.
