Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce received her 4th World 100m gold medal following her superb win on Sunday to become a four-time 100m World Champion.

Fraser-Pryce is the first mum to win a 100m title since 1995. She clocked 10.80 in the heats and 10.81 in the semis, recorded a world-leading 10.71 seconds to win the final ahead of Dina Asher-Smith, who won the silver in 10.83.

Ivorian Marie-Josee Ta Lou won the bronze. Elaine Thompson finished fourth in 10.93.
