Watch: Elaine Thompson qualifies for 200m semi-final at World Champs

Elaine Thompson has qualified for the women’s 200m semi-final on the Day 4 of the 2019 World Championships in Qatar, Doha.

Thompson, who’s the second-fastest over the 200m this year behind
Shaunae Miller-Uibo, clocked 22.61 seconds to finish second in heat 3. American Brittany Brown won the heat in 22.33 seconds. Thompson looked relaxed as she did in the rounds of the 100m.

Jamaican Shashalee Forbes finished third in heat 1 with a time of 23.15 seconds.
