Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce records the fastest ever women’s 100m heat time in world champs history, blasting out the blocks and relaxing down the straight to win in 10.80 on Day 2 the 2019 World Championships in Doha, Qatar.

Fraser-Pryce, who shares the fastest time this year with Elaine Thompson, clocked a relaxed but impressive 10.80 seconds to win heat 1. Murielle Ahoure, the 2018 world indoor champion, records a season’s best 11.05 for second place.
