Megan Tapper is safely through to women’s 100m final after finishing second with a 12.61 personal in semifinal 2 behind the world record holder Keni Harrison ‘s winning in 12.58 seconds – who has yet to win an outdoor world title.
Janeek Brown out-dipped Costa Rican Andrea Vargas to finished second in the Semifinal 3 in 12.62 behind Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan who won in 12.48 seconds.
