Watch: Danielle Williams wins 100m Hurdles heat at World Champs

The 2015 champion and world leader Danielle Williams gets her campaign into swing in fine style, winning heat 3 of the women’s 100m hurdles.

Williams clocked 12.51, the second quickest time in the history of the sprint hurdle qualifiers, to win the third heat and qualify for the semifinals.

Jamaican Yanique Thompson finished second in 12.85 in Heat 2 after her compatriot Megan Tapper finished second in heat 1 [12.78] to also advance to the semifinals. Janeek Brown, the Jamaican NCAA Champion recorded 12.61 for second in heat 5.
