Rushell Clayton has qualified for the women’s 400m Hurdles semifinals at the 2019 World Athletics Championships in Doha, Qatar on Tuesday.
Clayton dominated from the get-go and still had enough for a late burst over the last barrier to ensure her win.

Clayton, who won the London Diamond League 400m Hurdles in July with a personal best 54.16, comfortably won heat 5 in 55.23 seconds at the World Champs to advance to the semifinals where she will join her compatriot Shiann Salmon on Wednesday.
