Elaine Thompson-Herah just ran a world-leading 100m time in Rome at her first Diamond League 2020.

Thompson recorded new season-best of 10.85 seconds down from her previous 10.86s time which she stunned the crowd with last year at the same event.
Thompson’s 10.85 time surpasses former MVP teammate Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce’s 10.86s done in August. Her recent season’s best was 10.88s which ranked her at #2.
